This section measures your ability to understand and analyze written text. It includes questions about reading comprehension, vocabulary, and sentence equivalence..
Quantitative Reasoning
This section measures your ability to solve math problems. It includes questions about basic algebra, arithmetic, data analysis, and geometry. However, the quantitative reasoning section on the GRE does not require the use of a calculator.
Analytical Writing
This section measures your ability to write clear and concise essays. It includes two tasks: an Issue essay and an Argument essay
